Stay for Lunch, Music Stay for Lunch, Chapel Choir and Early Drop Off are optional programs that are available to children already enrolled in our Half-Day program at a nominal cost.

HOW DO I SIGN MY CHILD UP FOR EXTENDED DAY PROGRAMS?
There is a sign up sheet in the office with one sheet for every school day. You must sign your child’s name on this sheet in advance for the day or days that you would like him or her to attend. At the same time, you must indicate when you will return to pick up your child. If you need your child to stay later than the indicated time, you must contact the office.

You may sign up for one day at a time or you may sign your child up to have a regular schedule. That means your child stays the same day or days for the entire year. You will receive a form in August that you need to fill out for the extended day programs. Once the forms go out, space is available on a first come, first serve basis.

The extended day programs are mixed ages (2 years, 9 months – 5 years old).

IS SPACE IN EXTENDED DAY PROGRAMS LIMITED?
Yes!  There are a limited number of spaces available for each program.  It is important to sign-up your child as soon as possible.  Please notify the office if your child will not be attending.

HOW DO I PAY FOR EXTENDED DAY PROGRAMS?
Your account will be charged as your child uses the program, so the charges will appear on your monthly statement. There is no grace period with the stay for lunch programs. If your child is signed-up until 1:30, you must pick him/her up by that time unless you have made other arrangements. If you arrive after the scheduled time, you will be charged for the next hour. For example, if you are suppose to pick-up your child at 1:30 and you arrive at 1:31, you will be charged until 2:30. When you sign your child out on the clipboard, you must write the time you are there since the price is based on the actual pick-up time.

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO TAKE TO STAY FOR LUNCH, MUSIC STAY FOR LUNCH, AND CHAPEL CHOIR?

• A small lunch, make sure your child’s name in on the outside of the lunch pail. The school provides milk, or you may provide a drink. Your child’s lunch can be placed on the wooden cart located outside of Room 1 (Lunch Bunch/Regular) or Room 10 (Music).
• If your child is staying past 12:30, please put your child’s back pack with a beach towel in it on the cart, clearly marked with your child’s name. This is for rest time and it should be taken home each day. For children who stay after 1:30, you will find their backpack and lunch pail on the carts outside Room 10.

Early Drop Off in Room 5

WHEN IS EARLY DROP OFF?
This program offers parents an opportunity to have their child cared for from 8:00 a.m. – 8:50 a.m., Monday through Friday.  Early Drop Off is in Room 5 and in the South Yard.  You must sign your child in on the sign-in sheet on top of the cubbies in Room 5.

HOW MUCH DOES EARLY DROP OFF COST?
Early Drop off is $3.00 per day.

Lunch Bunch in Room 2 (HALF DAY MORNING PROGRAM)

WHEN IS LUNCH BUNCH?
Lunch Bunch is held in Room 2 Monday-Friday. Pick-up time is 12:30.

HOW MUCH DOES LUNCH BUNCH COST?
Lunch Bunch is $3.00 per day. If your child is not picked-up by 12:30, he/she will be taken to Room 1 Stay for Lunch and you will be charged accordingly.

WHAT IS THE STAY FOR LUNCH PROGRAM?
Stay for Lunch is a program designed to offer you quality childcare on any given day (Monday through Friday) until 4:30 at a low cost ($3.00 per hour). The church and preschool consider this to be a service to the families.

THE STAY FOR LUNCH SCHEDULE:

11:45 - 12:15	Arrival in Room 1 and Lunch Time
12:15 - 12:45	Free Play
12:45 - 1:00	Gathering Time (finger plays, books, etc)
1:00 - 1:20	Quiet rest time on towels (music, relaxation, stretching exercises)
1:20 - 1:45	Games/Drama/Creative Expression - Each day is different!
1:45 – 2:30	Thing/Bike Yard
2:30 - 3:00	Grass Area/Room 10
3:00 – 3:15	Snack in Room 10
3:15 – 4:00	Activities in Room 10
4:00 – 4:30	Thing/Bike Yard

WHEN IS STAY FOR LUNCH OFFERED?
Stay for Lunch is offered from 11:45 – 4:30 by the hour, on the half-hour.
